According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight, 54 percent of respondents aged 35 to 44 stated they purchased more online during the COVID-19 pandemic in Malaysia as of May 2020. On the other hand, six percent of the respondents aged 25 to 34 years old stated there was no impact on their online purchases. The same survey shows that Malaysians made more online purchases during the pandemic.
