According to a survey on Indian online shopping behavior conducted by Rakuten Insight in May 2020, 85 percent of females and 86 percent of males stated that they would continue buying products online even when businesses are open and social distancing measures are lifted. The most commonly purchased items were food and groceries, personal hygiene products, and household cleaning products.
