As a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, travel behavior all across the globe changed, particularly in terms of accommodation preference. According to the survey, as of May 2020, 11 percent of respondents stated that they are somewhat comfortable staying at hostels after the travel restrictions are lifted in the United States. In contrast, 46 percent respondents expressed that they are not at all comfortable with using hostels after this time.
