As of the fourth quarter of 2019, Societe Generale had met the total value of energy transition financing target set for 2020. With the combined value of renewable renewable energies financing or advisory and green bond issues met, Societe Generale set about new targets for 2023. The new combined goal set amounts to 120 billion euros in renewable energies and sustainable bonds.
