Mexico: leading exports of commodities 2023
In 2023, the category of vehicles (other than railway or tramway rolling stock and parts) ranked first among exports from Mexico, with a value of about 156.5 billion U.S. dollars. In comparison, plastics and articles thereof, which ranked eighth that year accounted for 11.7 billion U.S. dollars out of the nearly 593 billion U.S. dollars' worth of goods exported that year. In terms of imported commodities to Mexico, electrical machinery and equipment led the list.
