Mobile education app downloads worldwide Q1 2020, by platforms (in millions)

During the first quarter of 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic caused a surge of downloads of educational apps. In the latest reported quarter, the Apple App Store had 470 million educational app downloads, In comparison, users downloaded466 million educational apps via Google Play. Both platforms had their respective highest reported educational app downloads in this quarter.
