U.S. personal care subcategories with most post-COVID-19 search growth 2020
As of May 2020, the leading beauty and personal care subcategory with the biggest post-COVID-19 online search growth was the skin care subcategory. Skin care saw a 192 percent increase in web searches. In comparison, the shaving & grooming subcategory generated only 26 percent of online search growth compared to the pre-COVID period from January 1 to March 13, 2020.
