Share of Italians interested in women's soccer in 2020, by macro-region
According to a survey from 2020, most Italians were interested in women's soccer occasionally. Data show that most occasional fans came from the Islands. About 30 percent of respondents from this macro-region claimed to watch matches or read news about women's football on a random basis. On the other hand, 64 percent of interviewees from the North-East was not interested in this sport.
