Share of Italians interested in women's soccer in 2020, by gender
According to a survey from 2020, roughly seven in ten female respondents in Italy were not interested in women's soccer. Specifically, 68 percent of female interviewees was not interested in this sport, while 46 percent of male Italians stated the same. Moreover, about 19 percent of female respondents watched matches or read news about this sport on a random basis, while 32 percent of male interviewees claimed to be an occasional fan.
