The world of video gaming is very diverse, ranging from mobile gaming to PC gaming and console gaming. A newer phenomenon has also emerged in recent years of video gamers watching other people play their favorite gamers online, either professionally or for fun. During a June 2018 survey in the United States, 33 percent of video game content watchers stated that they bought or played a game because they saw someone play it online.
