According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in the Philippines, 62 percent of the respondents aged 55 and above stated that they would continue buying online because it was much more convenient than going to a physical store as of May 2020. Notably, 60 percent of respondents from the same age group would continue to buy online because they feared that they would get the COVID-19 virus.
