Reasons to prefer online over offline purchase of organic products in Italy in 2019
Respondents of this survey were asked to identify the reasons why they would prefer to shop online for organic products rather than in physical shops. Home delivery came on top as the most common motivation with 38 percent of the respondents, followed by e-commerce's platforms price convenience and availability of sales and promotions. The wide array of choice presented by online shops was indicated by 28 percent of the respondents, while for 26 percent of them saving time and the availability of brands that they would not find elsewhere played a role.
