In 2019, the most stolen vehicle model in Mexico was the Nissan pick-up truck NP300, with 4,657 units reported stolen. The sedan car Nissan Tsuru ranked second with 4,311 thefts reported during that year, followed by the also Nissan Versa, with 3,803 stolen vehicles. More than 84,000 insured vehicles were stolen in Mexico in 2019.
