Between September and October 2019, around 45 percent of respondents in Brazil believed that the most important factor needed in order to achieve gender equality was more women being represented in government and politics. Another 35 percent of Brazilian respondents believed that women in senior positions in business or CEO/board positions is also an essential factors for gender equality. In that regard, 59 percent of respondents in Brazil said there was a relationship between women in leadership positions and equality.
