Iraq had planned to reduce its oil production during the COVID-19 pandemic to approximately 3.6 million barrels per day in the May-June period compared to 4.5 million barrels per day in April in 2020. The forecast showed that oil production would be at about 3.8 million barrels per day in the second half of 2020, and about four million barrels per day in 2021.
