Renewable energy share in Hong Kong 2021, by fuel type
In 2021, renewable energy accounted for around 3.7 percent of Hong Kong's town gas and LPG production. Meanwhile, only 0.6 percent of the electricity was generated from renewable sources, which include solar power and sludge incineration. Other sources of renewables in Hong Kong were biogas from landfill sites and sewage treatment plant as well as biodiesel.
