Digital buyers aged 45+ in the U.S. 2019-2023
A 2019 study conducted on digital buyers over the age of 45 in the United States shows that by the end of the year 2020, the number of U.S. digital buyers in that age segment will amount to 91.5 million. In 2023, it is projected that the number of digital buyers over 45 years of age will rise to 99.3 million, which amounts to 81.3 percent of internet users aged 45 years and older. This increase can be attributed to the corona pandemic, which has forced many U.S. adults to stay at home and turn to the internet for necessities such as grocery delivery and other daily items.
