Total sales of Shoprite Holdings 2010-2019
Over the last years, Shoprite Holdings has seen a yearly increase in its total sales, rising from 67.1 billion South African rand (around 4.4 billion U.S. dollars) in 2010 to 150.4 billion rand (about 9.8 billion U.S. dollars) by 2019. The South African Shoprite Group opened its first warehouse in 1979 and has since expanded to become one of the most successful retailers on the African continent and the Indian Ocean Islands.
