In 2018, it was estimated that 9.7 percent of Belgians, aged 15 to 64 years old, consumed alcohol on a daily basis. Although a drop in consumption occurred from 2013 to 2018, the daily consumption of alcohol was on the rise from 1997 to 2013. In 2013, the share of Belgians who drank alcohol every day reached 14.2 percent.

A logistic regression based on respondents answers, age, gender, and the Belgian population in 2018 was used to measure the presented share of the Belgian population. Furthermore, the number of respondents varied each year.
