In an online survey conducted in the United States in 2022, it was found that 41 percent of adults aged 18 to 29 years old reported that they used podcasts to get news at least sometimes, compared to just 17 percent of those aged 65 or above. That said, podcast news consumption grew overall, with adults of all ages reporting higher consumption in 2023 than two years previously.
