Belgians with a lower secondary education were more likely to use multiple types of drugs than people with a different type of education in 2018. During that year, it was estimated that one percent of Belgians with such an educational level consumed different types of drugs in the past 12 months. On the other hand, this same behavior was found among an estimated 0.6 percent of the Belgian population who held a higher educational degree.

A logistic regression based on respondents answers, age, gender, and the Belgian population in 2018 was used to measure the presented share of the Belgian population per educational level.
