Approximately one third (33 percent) of tweets made in the Caribbean in February and March 2019 regarding topics related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations addressed the 16th goal that is peace, justice and strong institutions – which entails promoting peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, providing access to justice for all, and building effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels. Over a fifth (22 percent) of the tweets were related to the third SDG: good health and well-being for people (encompassing healthy lives and the promotion of well-being for all at all ages).
