As of June 2020, 87 percent of internet purchases made in Argentina were paid for using digital payment methods. In Colombia, that share amounted to 41 percent. The sudden COVID-19 outbreak led to a change in online transactions in Argentina, significantly increasing supermarkets-related e-payments in the South American country.
