Frequency of drinking alcohol in a pub or restaurant in the UK 2019/2020, by age
In 2019/20, around half of 18 to 24 year olds respondents to a UK survey said they drank alcohol in pubs and restaurants at least once a month. According to the survey, 20 percent said they drank out a few times a month, and seven percent a few times a week. Older age groups showed similar trends, with 55 to 64 year olds almost equally as likely to drink out once a week.
