The reception of Donald Trump's tweets across party lines is a prime example of the ongoing political polarization in the United States. During a June 2020 survey, 41 percent of Democrat-identifying adults in the United States had the opinion that Donald Trump believed all of his Tweets. However, only a third of Republican respondents said they felt the President believed all of his own tweets.
