Is COVID-19 going to affect the choice of intercity means of transportation for Italians? A survey conducted in May 2020 seemed to assert so. When asked about intercity public transport, almost one third of the respondents replied that they plan on decreasing their use of trains and buses. A small percentage (four percent) said they will use them more than before, while 22 percent of the respondents do not forecast any change in their transport patterns.
