Purchase incidence by type of digital commerce worldwide 2021

According to a 2021 survey, online marketplaces were the most prevalent type of digital commerce globally, with 75 percent of respondents indicating that they had used them to make purchases in the last six months. While traditional retailer and brand websites followed, several emerging types of e-commerce are stealing the spotlight. Voice commerce, social commerce, and quick commerce, for instance, were used by more than a third of respondents in this period.
