CEE: volume of retail trade 2024

The most significant increase in the volume of retail trade among Central and Eastern European countries was recorded in Romania, where sales (excluding motorization, fixed prices, and calendar-adjusted data) increased by 10.2 percent year-on-year in September 2024. In the European Union, retail sales increased by 2.8 percent during this period.
