In 2023, roughly 93.9 percent of children in the European Economic Area (EEA) received their first dose of the measles vaccination, while 88.8 percent received their second dose. The two large drops in children receiving two doses of the measles vaccine in Europe correspond with two large spikes in cases of the disease in 2002 and 2010. This statistic displays the vaccination rate of measles in the European Economic Area (EEA) from 1999 to 2023, by dose.
