These states are those that have experienced 10 or more known deaths among Asian residents. The District of Columbia and the 13 states of Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Delaware, Idaho, Kansas, Kentucky, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Utah and Vermont are also reporting Asian deaths, but have experienced fewer than 10 deaths each. However, their suppressed data is included in totals. Data for Arizona, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Iowa, Michigan, Oklahoma and Wisconsin include Pacific Islanders in the numerators and denominators. Missouri and South Carolina include Asians in their "Other" category, so they cannot be shown here; their population is also excluded from ALL KNOWN DEATHS data. It is not known whether Rhode Island is also counting Asian deaths in their "Other" category. States employ varying methods for reporting race and ethnicity data.
