George Floyd protesters: opinion on intent by ideology U.S. 2020

As of early June 2020, 66 percent of U.S. liberals surveyed believed that most the protesters responding to the death of George Floyd are peaceful and wanting to bring about meaningful social reforms, with only a minority trying to incite violence or destroy property. Conversely, 58 percent of conservatives surveyed believed that a majority of protesters are trying to incite violence or destroy property, with only a minority having peaceful aims.
