Online purchases of new products and services due to COVID-19 in Finland 2020

According to a consumer survey, over half of the respondents in Finland purchased new products and services online during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. For first-time customers, essential products such as clothing and groceries, were the most popular choice. Around 20 percent of respondents bought clothes and accessories, and 14 percent bought groceries online for the first time due to COVID-19. Other newly purchased products and services included restaurant meals, hygiene and beauty products, electronics, and recreational goods.
