The Minecraft app for iOS devices became increasingly popular among the Norwegian population during the coronavirus outbreak. On March 1, 2020, the number of daily active users amounted to roughly 22 thousand, according to Airnow. On April 20, the amount exceeded 50 thousand and continued to grew. From the beginning of May, the number declined again and was 30 thousand as of June 1, 2020.
