The usage of the live streaming app Twitch increased considerably in Norway after the implementation of political measures to curb the coronavirus spread. On March 1, 2020, roughly 9.3 thousand iOS device owners and 900 Android device owners used the gaming related app on a daily basis, according to Airnow. The number of daily active users grew to nearly 50 thousand for iOS and Android two months later. After this peak the user amount declined again.
