In a survey conducted by Ipsos in 2020, regarding whether or not respondents thought it likely that they would use less social media, 67 percent of respondents in China thought it was unlikely that they would use less social media. Comparatively, 35 percent of respondents in the Philippines thought it was likely that they would use less social media in 2020.
