Belgium: SVOD use in Wallonia, by gender 2019

Men in Belgium's French-speaking southern region of Wallonia used video services like Netflix more often than women, although use among females increased in 2019. These results were presented by a survey that looked into online activities from individuals in the country and its different regions. In 2019, there was still somewhat of a difference between men and women when it came to the SVOD. This difference was, however, much bigger in 2018, when the penetration rate of using commercial streaming services like Netflix was seven percentage points higher among Walloon men.
