Belgium: SVOD use in Flanders, by gender 2019

Women from Belgium's Dutch-speaking northern region of Flanders were more likely to use Netflix than men in 2019. These results were presented by a survey that looked into online activities from individuals in the country and its different regions. Previously, the penetration rate of using commercial streaming services like Netflix was higher among Flemish men. In 2016, 14 percent percent of Flanders' males used an SVOD service compared to 12 percent of females in the region. Three years later, the situation reversed, with women using commercial video on demand services more often.
