Opinions on gambling among Italians 2020, by gender
A survey from May 2020 asked Italian individuals about their opinions on gambling. Data show that 56 percent of female respondents thought of gambling as a waste of money. About 46 percent of male respondents believed the same. Whereas 22 percent of male interviewees considered gambling a hobby, only eight percent of female respondents claimed so. Similarly, 16 percent of male interviewees associated gambling with fun, while only eight percent of female respondents did the same.
