Opinions on gambling among Italians 2020
A survey from May 2020 asked Italian individuals about their opinions on gambling. Data show that roughly half of the survey sample thought of gambling as a waste of money. Moreover, 37 percent of interviewees believed that it was an addiction, while 35 percent of respondents associated gambling with risk. On the other hand, 15 percent of respondents considered it a hobby and one in ten interviewees claimed that gambling was fun.
