Share of overnight stays in Occitanie, France 2018, by area
The metropolitan areas of Toulouse and Montpellier only made up for 16 percent of total nights spent in the southern French region of Occitanie in 2018. More than half of overnight stays were recorded in the countryside and other urban areas. The statistic also reveals that 23 percent of nights were spent along the Mediterranean Sea.
