Small and medium-sized enterprises with a strong online presence did not suffer as drastic changes in turnover due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak as companies with a weaker online presence. During the 2020 pandemic, 52 percent of surveyed enterprises with a strong online presence reported having experienced a decrease in the company's turnover.
