From January to April 2020, the weekly viewing durations of content on WeTV in Southeast Asia increased by 209 percent. In comparison, the weekly viewing durations of Vidio increased by 18 percent in Southeast Asia from January to April 2020. The dramatic increases in viewing durations were caused by the outbreak of the coronavirus, in which there were periods of total or partial lockdown.
