South Korea: items purchased in bulk after coronavirus outbreak by gender 2020

According to a survey by Rakuten Insight on panic buying after the coronavirus outbreak in South Korea in 2020, dry food items such as rice, noodles, or pasta were the most popular purchases, along with frozen foods and medical supplies such as disinfectants and sanitisers. Of the nearly ten thousand South Koreans surveyed, a mere 15.4 percent of respondents said they had engaged in panic buying.
