Those currently consuming cannabis at the greatest frequency were the most likely to increase their usage during the coronavirus outbreak in the United States in 2020. Forty-four percent of respondents who stated they used cannabis multiple times per day planned on increasing their usage during the coronavirus outbreak, compared to only 12 percent of those who said they used cannabis a few times per month.
