According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in South Korea in 2022, over 80 percent of both male and female gamers stated that they preferred to play free-to-play (F2P). One in three also played completely free games. 25 percent of male gamers also stated that they liked pay-to-play (P2P) games.
