Craft beer preferences by pack format in the United Kingdom (UK) 2019
During a survey period in 2019, it was reported that 44 percent of polled individuals in the UK stated that they preferred craft beers sold in bottles due to its recyclability. That compares to 33 percent quoting the same reason for cans. The least chosen response among those who favored bottles was price or better value for money. Corresponding characteristic for those who preferred a can was its better appearance with ten percent of polled lager and ale consumers.
