According to a survey by Rakuten Insight on panic buying after the coronavirus outbreak, 81 percent of Indian respondents stated that they felt safe after stockpiling on items. In the same survey, the majority of respondents who engaged in panic buying stocked up on dry food items, personal hygiene products and medical supplies.
