Reasons consumers didn't buy prepared food from C-stores in the United States in 2019
The main reason consumers did not shop for foodservice items at convenience stores in the United States was finding the prices too high. In 2019, 54 percent of respondents indicated that they found the prices for c-store food service to be too high. Another 31 percent either disliked the lack of healthy options or did not consider c-stores when thinking about food service shopping.
