According to a survey by Rakuten Insight on panic buying after the coronavirus outbreak, 91.7 percent of female and 94.24 percent of male Vietnamese respondents felt safe after stockpiling on items. In the same survey, 61.57 percent of respondents indicated that they had not engaged in panic buying because of the coronavirus pandemic, while 38.43 percent of respondents did.
