Main purchase channels to buy goods in bulk after COVID-19 in Vietnam 2020, by gender

According to a survey by Rakuten Insight on panic buying after the coronavirus outbreak, 63.15 percent of female and 67.71 percent of male Vietnamese respondents stated that they purchased items in bulk in supermarkets and hypermarkets. In the same survey, 61.57 percent of respondents indicated that they had not engaged in panic buying because of the coronavirus pandemic, while 38.43 percent of respondents did.
